I am self employed as Visual Art and Design artist and teacher. I graduated from T.A.F.E. in Townsville, Australia. I moved back to my hometown and island Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland in December 1994 and live by sharing what I learned by teaching others how to paint with oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolors and also drawing using pencils, coal etc. I teach few weeks at a time in autumn and winter as I like to have the summer for myself and do some en plein air painting when the weather allows. I have had numerous exhibitions both solo and joint over the years. You might say that I live for my art!
